The CUNY Academic Commons provides a strong solution for faculty who are looking for a low-bandwidth platform to connect with their students and carry on the work of the spring 2020 semester. The current recalibration period offers an opportunity to build out asynchronous modes of exchange with our students, and the Commons facilitates that kind of work well.
