TLC Workshop: Designing Activities and Promoting Student Participation

Have you ever asked a room full of students a question just to be met with an awkward silence? How might instructors prevent this before it happens? Join us for a workshop on activity design and classroom participation where we will explore techniques that foster a habit of active learning in the classroom. We will discuss examples of intentional design for in-class activities that prioritize student participation in our teaching practices.
