Faculty Resources:

The Center for the Advancement of Teaching (CAT) offers one on one consultations, classroom pre-observations (informally observing your class before you are formally observed), help with teaching portfolios and course design, organizing student focus groups, and videotaped analysis.

The John Jay College Library allows faculty to request a visit from a librarian or use of one of the specially equipped classrooms.

The John Jay Writing Center accepts referrals from faculty. They also offer workshops for students, but students must sign up themselves.
