Practical Guide to Active Learning in STEM Classrooms

This workshop aims to provide a practical guide to promoting student-centered teaching practices and help instructors design for full participation and learning in their roles as science educators. Participants will discuss, explore and experience equitable active learning in the workshop. Finally, they will be able to design and share activities while receiving feedback from their peers.

This workshop was offered as part of the TLC’s 2021 Mid-Winter Institute.

This workshop took place via Zoom as an online, synchronous workshop Jan 23rd, at 6-7:30 PM, as part of the Mid-Winter Institute.  The workshop and materials were developed by Sule Aksoy and Fernanda Blanco Vida.
